Our School Day

Learning Support and Scholarships

Learning Support

We have a staff of trained and experienced Learning Support teachers that provide one-on-one assistance to students with identified learning challenges. Every child who attends the Coach House has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that identifies areas of weakness or difficulty, as well as the corresponding targets. Teachers must also be conversant with these in order to guarantee that relevant help and interventions are implemented in their classrooms.

Some youngsters are additionally tested by an Educational Psychologist to provide a more detailed assessment on their issues and strategies for overcoming them. This report is typically necessary for exam access arrangements such as extra time or a reader and scribe. Our LS team can also help children with English as an additional language, and those with anxiety and social issues. Additionally, there are ten Learning Support lessons per term are included in the school fees, which equates to around one lesson per week. There is also the option of more lessons, with an added fee.

Scholarships

Our children apply for and earn scholarships in a variety of fields, including academic awards, sports scholarships, art shows, and all-rounder honors. Teachers maintain a close watch on each kid and help to cultivate specific abilities and interests, which enables our youngsters grow in confidence and ability and, ultimately, be rewarded with a scholarship. Teachers are also available to assist with interview preparation and extra coaching before to exams.
